HUGE HUGE thank you to all who followed us down the rabbit hole to Wunderland, you all looked amazing and we really appreciate the effort. We hope you had as much fun as we did.

“The mad hatter’s prize for Best dressed boy” was awarded to the fabulous Joedyn Reed and “the princess crown for best dressed girl” to Tanja Puustelli. Special mention to Mike, Jen & Mel for best team effort. Oh, and batboy Jason Moss for providing giggles all night and every time we glance at the photos.

Wunderland takes place at the wundersome Melt Bar, 12 Kellett Street Potts Point. Read below the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction.

Details

Invitations
This is an invitation only event, invitations have been sent by facebook, by email and some with a rabbit (These may not have arrived yet as he was running very late). Please RSVP so you are added to the guestlist. Invited guests are welcome to bring someone but you must contact Jac or Meg to have them added to the guest list. Either RSVP or your head must be off.

Time
Party Starts at 8.30 on Saturday 21st November 09. Melt has just extended their trading hours to 5am. Best, then, to begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop. That way you’re sure to not miss out on some spectacular performances, Simon Caldwell on the decks as well as complimentary bubbles.

Dress Code
It’s fancy dress, the theme is fantasy / fairytale. See the theme page for ideas. If you have serious issues with dressing up, imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise. Ok? Or just stay home. Prizes for the best dressed.

Gifts
Please don’t get us gifts. We will arrange a charity for donations on the night so bring some cash if you’d like to contribute. Or buy us a drink, or ten.

World Vision’s Micro initiative
As we mentioned, we’d be over the moon if you’d join us in supporting World Vision’s Micro initiative in lieu of gifts. Micro is a new programme that provides business loans to people in third world nations, providing a sustainable solution to impoverished communities. Our first recipient Marlsen will use the loan to better provide for her family by expanding her business selling… shoes and cosmetics, of course!
